Courses: Catullus and Cicero (LATNH101A01)

Fall 2007

Introduction to the study of Latin literature through readings from Catullus' poetry and Cicero's Pro Caelio. Class will include some grammar review, but emphasis will be on developing reading skills and on critical intepretation and discussion. For a course with more extensive grammar review, see Bryn Mawr Latin 003.

Prerequisites: Either a year of college Latin or strong high school preparation.
