Why do scientists cheat? This seminar will explore various aspects
of Scientific Misconduct, a topic very much in the news. Among the
areas to be discussed through case studies are types of misconduct,
motivations for misconduct, distinguishing misconduct from genuine
scientific disagreement, and mechanisms for detecting and preventing
misconduct. Enrollment limited to 6 students.
