A study of how ancient Greeks and Romans perceived and constructed
their physical and social world. We explore cosmology, geography,
travel, commerce, ancient ethnography, the idea of nature and
artificial wonders, and the self-definition of the classical cultures
in the context of oikoumene, the inhabited world. Cross listed with
