The Humanities Center sponsors small student groups (3-8 participants) devoted to shared close reading of texts without the pressure of pedagogical oversight. Such reading groups might take a single work of relative complexity as its subject. Center funding up to $300 will be provided to reimburse costs for books and refreshments. Awards are made on a rolling, ad hoc basis up to the capacity of the Center’s funding line for this program.
