Exhibits: About Us
Since 2007, the John B. Hurford '60 Humanities Center has overseen the Haverford College Exhibitions Program. Building upon a rich legacy of past exhibitions, the current program seeks more than ever to mount exhibitions that make best use of the college’s spaces, collections, and other resources to extend cultural literacy through the display of visual and material items. In addition, the Exhibitions Program attempts to work closely with the college faculty in an effort to develop exhibitions of art and/or objects as an enrichment of their teaching and scholarly interests. Providing clearly focused and well executed exhibitions to a wide regional audience, the Haverford College Exhibitions Program plays an important supporting role to the rich arts programming of the region.
