#3 - Waterlily Magnolia (Magnolia stellata ‘Waterlily’)
This cultivar of Star Magnolia produces delicate pink-flushed flowers in spring with many narrow petals. The lustrous green leaves add a cool touch on a summer day. In fall, cone-like fruits split to reveal bright red seeds and, in winter, the pale gray trunk of this small tree adds interest to a stark landscape.
