#29 - English Oak (Quercus robur)
A native of Europe, North Africa and Western Asia, the English Oak was introduced in colonial times. It has a short trunk and reaches from 40 to 60 feet tall in this country. The small, rounded leaves are often covered with white powdery mildew in the summer.
