#21 - Sweet Bay Magnolia (Magnolia virginiana)
This native magnolia produces fragrant white flowers in June and July and holds its dark green leaves well into the winter months. Its form can vary from a single-stemmed tree to a large, multi-stemmed shrub, making it a perfect plant for the home landscape as it grows to about 20 feet.
