#1 - Cedar of Lebanon (Cedrus libani)
A native of Asia Minor, the Cedar of Lebanon was the largest known tree in Biblical times. This commanding tree grows to a height of 100 feet or more and bears short, stiff needles in tufts and upright barrel-shaped cones on its large, strong limbs.
